Religious Education News
Students learn the value of
social justice and humility.
Recently, students at Columba participated in our Crazy Hair Day. There was an impressive volume of goods donated by families. We thank everyone in our school community for getting behind this generous cause.
This is one of the great opportunities to demonstrate to our students why it matters to reach out to those who are most vulnerable. They learn how a little help can go a long way to giving someone a better day, a need met, or the way to an improved circumstance. Students in grades 4/5 have explored how a fundraiser like Crazy Hair Day can help and have created some posters sharing their knowledge and wisdom.
