“Resilience is key to addressing mental health issues. We need to allow our kids to experience adversity. There is a tendency to shield our kids because parents have become a bit over-protective.”

School Fees Semester 2 Thank you to families |
As we work through our end of Semester school fee accounts, I just wanted to send a message to all families with a big THANK YOU! Thank you to all the many families that have worked with the school to pay their school fees in 2022. We have had many families make enormous efforts to pay their school fees through the year, which goes a long way to helping us provide an well rounded, engaging learning experience for all of our students. I encourage all families to please keep in contact with either Jan (bursar) or myself if it is that fees are causing any issues at home. We are here to help. School fee statements are sent at the start of each term through email, and a reminder is sent in week 6-7 of each term to all families. If you have not contacted the school or have not paid any fees for the 2022 year, you will receive an email in the coming days requesting that you make a payment or contact the school to talk through your options. We do not want school fee debt to get overwhelming for families and will always send reminders to avoid this from happening. |

Addy Norrie – WORLD’S GREATEST SHAVE
Addy is doing a big chop of her hair on the 16th of July
Hi there!
My name is Addy and I am a student attending Columba Catholic Primary School.
I'm on a mission to save the world from blood cancer, and I need YOUR HELP!
I'm sacrificing my locks to help Aussie families facing blood cancer.
Will you step up and donate to me as I take on World's Greatest Shave?
Your donation will provide families facing blood cancer with the special care they need to make it through every scary, uncertain moment that follows a
diagnosis.
It will also help brilliant research scientists continue their search for better ways to diagnose and treat blood cancer more effectively.
Every day over 50 Australians are diagnosed with a blood cancer.
I'm on a mission to change that.
Will you help by donating? Just click here:

Thank You!
